Thank you, Gerald; yes, we do have these blooms already (2 weeks now). We always have green leaves on our trees in May; even when I was in Pa. I looked at the map; we are not farther north in Oregon than Connecticut. I will say Oregon, west of the Cascades, tends to have mild winters, very little snow, and mild summers. Which is influenced by being close to the immense Pacific Ocean; producing a coastal climate. Pa has very humid summers. The trade off here, we tend to have a lot of rain, a lot of drizzly days; which comes and goes several times within a day.

Beautiful. Have never seen that color before. You have these blooms already, we still don't have leaves on trees yet.
