Why thank you, Gerald. I would say about 20 feet. She and many of the birds I shoot come to my rock garden. I had turned it into a bird sanctuary, where there are several mini feeding stations, plus water; and good backdrops. I bought the ladder that she is standing on at a yard sale stand. I keep adding new props to keep it interesting for good composition. As for posing for me; I don't think so, but when you sit near their area frequently, they tend to sort of get used to your presence. And as for magic . . ..hmmm. I'd better not go there. Smiles.
