Description
This quite charming young female Hairy Woodpecker gave me several cute poses, landing close to me in our small garden area. I was so in awe as I took these shots from about eight feet away, that I could hardly focus. She seemed to have no fear of my presence. I felt the textures and contrasts were strong enough to not need color on one of the shots; so this one is offered as a sepia tone.
