Description
This handsome beautiful hummingbird is the only one with mostly turquoise feathers on head, throat and belly. He can sometimes be seen in South Western USA. More people are putting out feeders and catering to their floral needs, causing them and other migratory types to venture farther north than the tropics.

Just a beautful work of art! His shimmering turquoise feathers are highlighted by the brown background and complemented by the lovely pink tubular flowers, from which he is about to sip the nectar, while captured in mid-flight. Marvelous!
